Working Faith 

At the time I wrote this song, it seemed everybody was working over time.  So the idea of keep faith working over time came to me.

Double meanings are a loaded blessing.  Over time has the meaning of extra hours for extra pay.  But it also means over an extended period of time.  I usually don’t plan it that way in songs, but when it happens it is a blessing.

Working faith is the kind of faith James writes about.  Working faith is the only kind other people can see.  Keep yours working over time.
