We Bring Back Love To You

This is a favorite song of many people.  It is a lovely song to sing.  The chorus stands alone.  Mathew 13:13–17, the Lord’s explanation of his use of parables is the background for 'We Bring Back Love To You'.  But the truth of it is found in 1 John 4:16.  “And we have known and believed the love that God hath to us.  God is love; and he that dwelleth in love dwelleth in God, and God in him.”

This song is also and often referred to as 'Loving You Is Easy' because of the lead phrase of the chorus.  It is so easy to remember how easy it is to love the Lord Jesus because he first loved us.

All people are building on sand until they turn to the Rock of Truth.  The Lord Jesus has done it all.  Once a person is saved; it is so easy to bring back love to the one who is love.

I wrote this song as a worship, praise and love song to be sung directly to the Lord Jesus.  Like many of the songs that come to me, I sang wrote it.  The chorus came first if I remember right.  It is such a lovely song to sing.  Bev (my wife) and two other ladies in our church sang it as a trio.  I never did get them to record it.  Too bad.

It would be so nice to find singers to sing these songs that could do them justice.  I love to sing and enjoy it very much, but good singers do it so easy.
