No Fear 

Did you know that the greatest fear that people have in general is that of speaking in public.  I have found people are afraid of everything and anything.  Jesus said we are to have no fear.  We are not to be afraid.  The only fear we should have is a healthy fear of God.

I sang wrote this song.  The words came easily as I strummed the favorite chord progression of C, Am F and G.  The first time I played it, Anna Simoes didn’t like it.  But as she listened, she liked it more and more until it became one of her favorites.  It is a great song to sing and brings with it a certain fearlessness.  Be encouraged to encourage all believers not to fear ....Not to fear anything!

No Fear bumper stickers and No Fear T-shirts caused me to write this song.  It is a fearful thing to fall into the hands of the living God.

Jesus said in Luke 12:4 And I say unto you my friends, Be not afraid of them that kill the body, and after that have no more that they can do.  5  But I will forewarn you whom ye shall fear: Fear him, which after he hath killed hath power to cast into hell; yea, I say unto you, Fear him.  6  Are not five sparrows sold for two farthings, and not one of them is forgotten before God?  7  But even the very hairs of your head are all numbered.  Fear not therefore: ye are of more value than many sparrows. 8  Also I say unto you, Whosoever shall confess me before men, him shall the Son of man also confess before the angels of God:  9  But he that denieth me before men shall be denied before the angels of God.

I am still amazed at how many people, even born again people, are afraid and fearful.  This song came so easily as I thought about why believers and friends of Jesus should not fear.
