John 3:16 

In 1974, Bev (my wife) and I attended a Bill Gothard Seminar.  It was the first time I heard about setting Scripture to music and singing Scripture back to God.  'John 3:16' was my first setting Scripture to music.  The melody is very lovely, and the words are the greatest and most powerful ever written.  It is the gospel song of the gospel.
